VLS-100

The Netzer VLS-100 absolute rotary encoder provides up to 22-bit resolution with 0.006 Degree accuracy in an ultra-thin (<6.2 mm), lightweight (<42g) design. Engineered for space missions, semiconductor tools, and contamination-free environments, it ensures high-reliability, wear-free operation. The hollow, low-inertia structure minimizes system mass and improves dynamic response, making it ideal for high-precision optical positioning and cleanroom-compatible robotics.

Engineered for space and photonics, Netzer’s VLS absolute rotary encoders are field-proven in APT mechanisms and optical links—OISLs, FSO, DSOC, and ISLs. The VLS series combines non-contact capacitive technology, low mass, and high resolution to deliver precise position feedback for fine pointing, fast acquisition, and rock-steady tracking in satellite terminals and gimbaled payloads.
