The company, which started out in the late 1990s, offers standard low profile encoders or customized encoders that meet your qualifications. Their custom rotary encoders have an absolute position ultra-low profile and mechanical flexibility. They have a variety of encoders designed to meet system needs. Aside from the low-profile rotary encoder, it also has other top-notch products in its portfolio. Low profile encoders are ideally used in the following industries: material handling, metal processing, oil and gas, elevator, and building automation. They are usually integrated into applications where there is limited space.

These encoders are all lightweight, with a hollow floating shaft, and built with no bearing or other contacts. They have a high tolerance to extreme temperature, shock, vibration, EMI, RFI, and magnetic field. Netzer’s DS-25 and DS-37 models have a low profile of 7mm, while the DS-58, DS-70, DS-90, and DS-130 models have a low profile of 10mm. They are also mounting tolerant. Most of the encoders have an allowable mounting eccentricity of +-0.1mm and allowable rotor axial motion of +-0.1mm. They have low weight and inertia. When it comes to maximum usable speed, the DS-25 and DS-37 models run at 35 rpm, while the DS-58 and DS-70 models run at 750 rpm.
